I chose the name "The Teacher's Daughter" because growing up I heard this quite often. My dad taught fifth and sixth grade for twenty or so years at the elementary school I attended. As a young child starting school, students would often stop me and ask if I was the teacher's daughter. I was always proud to say I was! :) My dad was an excellent teacher and received numerous awards on the local and national level. While he is no longer teaching, he is still in the education field. I believe having him as my mentor has made me the successful teacher I am today! Thanks Dad!!!:)
